Il Casale
Isolato, molto tranquillo, originariamente punto d'incontro per grandi battute di caccia, ma anche zona di rifugio di leggendari banditi.
Il piano superiore del casale viene abitato dai proprietari come casa di campagna. Al piano terra sono stati ricavati cinque appartamenti per ospiti, tutti accessibili dal giardino, arredati in modo accogliente. Anche pensati per le stagioni più fredde, essendo provvisti d'impianto di riscaldamento ed attraenti camini.

L'ambiente
Il panorama aperto fino al mare e la tranquillità dei luoghi sono ottimi presupposti per dedicarsi ad attività intellettuali e naturalistiche. Il casolare è parte di una proprietà di 750 ettari di bosco, di macchia mediterranea e prati, che scendono dalla sommità dei monti di Castro, a confine con la Toscana meridionale, fino al fiume Fiora. Nei pressi del casale si trova l'estremo cratere vulcanico dell'apparato che ha generato il lago di Bolsena. Il cratere si chiama Monte Calvo, ed è da questo nome che è derivato quello dell'Agriturismo.

The Country House
Isolated, very peaceful, once a meeting place for large groups of hunters, but at the same time a refuge for legendary outlows..
The upper floor is reserved for the use of the owner, as a country house, while on the ground floor five apartaments have been created for guests, all with access from the garden, and attractively furnished.

The Surroundings
The view down to the seacoast and the peaceful environment offer an excellent occasion to devote to intellectual and naturalistic activities. The country house is located on a vast property of 2000 acres of forest trees, Mediterranean bush, and open fields descending from the top of Castro Hills, bordering on the southern part of Tuscany, down to the the Fiora River. Near the house is one of the old creaters of the volcano, which originally formed the Bolsena Lake. In fact, the crater is called Montecalvo, from which the property draws its name

Das Haus
Einsam, ruhig gelegen, war Montecalvo früher Treffpunkt großer Jagdgesellschaften aber auch Refugium legendärer Banditen. Das erste Stockwerk des weitläufigen Gebäudes wird von den Besitzern während des Sommer bewohnt. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es fünf Gästewohnungen. Jede hat vom Garten aus einen eigenen Eingang.
Alle sind geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet, und sind auch für kältere Jahreszeiten geeignet, weil sie mit moderner Heizung und gemütlichen Kaminen ausgestattet sind.

Die Umgebung
Der weite Blick bis zum Meer und die Ruhe dieses Orts sind gute Voraussetzungen um sich zu erholen und die Natur zu genießen. Das Gebäude liegt innmitten eines 750 ha großen Besitzes, der überwiegend aus Hochwald, Macchia und Wiesen besteht. Das Gelände erstreckt sich vom Tal des Flusses Fiora bis zu den Bergkuppen der "Monti Castro", die natürliche Grenze zur südlichen Toskana. In der Nähe sieht man den erloschenen Krater einer der Vulkane, die das Gebiet des Lago di Bolsena vor Jahrtausenden geprägt haben. Der Krater heißt Montecalvo und gab dem Haus seinen Namen.
